Key Vote: Island Airport Bridge

At a special meeting of City Council called immediately after they were sworn in, councillors voted for cancelling the fixed link bridge to the Island Airport. The bridge had been a key issue in the municipal election campaign throughout Fall 2003, and was seen by many as a key barrier to the redevelopment of Toronto's waterfront
